Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) for Military Installations

Fire alarm projects for DOD and military facilities are governed by the Uniform Facilities Codes (UFC). UFC 3-600-01 covers fire alarm and mass notification system design, while UFC-3-601-02 covers inspection, testing, and maintenance. This training will explore the differences between the UFC requirements and the national codes (NFPA 72, IBC, and NFPA 101).
